We are going strong at Widmer-World. Santa has visited and saw lots of children and the young at heart. Come by and see us as I think our light show is the best yet . Craig has put a lot of time and effort into perfecting this years show. Kids are enjoying the new scavenger hunt and the rains (much needed) have not caused any major problems. We hope to see you all soon.
Our new scavenger hunt will contain 45 items with 15 items each changing weekly throughout the season for you avid searchers.

How do you control the lights?Everything is controlled with software and hardware from Light-O-Rama and Animated Lighting. Our display for 2009 used 32 different channels, 2010 was 80 channels, for 2011 it was 112 channels and for 2012 we are running 304 individually controlled channels. This allows us to control almost every element in our front yard display and many of the elements in the back yard.
How many lights do you have?Unfortunately, we have never counted them... Every year we add new elements to our display in an attempt to make the display new and exciting for our returning guests, while at the same time we incorporate many of the old favorites back into the display.
How much did this cost?We don't know and I hope my wife never finds out... :)
How much is your PG&E bill? This is one of our best kepts secrets... I am happy to let you know what it is, but only if you are willing to pay the bill... :)
Do you accept donations?Yes, we do accept dontaions. We have a couple donation boxes in the yard. One helps us offset the cost of providing free Santa photos and the other helps with the electric bill... Any donations that are in excess of these two expenses are forwarded on to our favorite charties on behalf of Widmer World...
Why do you do this? Our display is nice way for our family to give something back to our wonderful community... It is also a nice family oriented hobby that keeps my family close and offers us an opportunity to spend time together while providing something special for our many guests.
